About Andrew

Andrew Reed is a lawyer focused on business and estates law, drawing on an extensive pre-law background in business development. His business law practice covers incorporations, business sales and purchases, tax planning, succession planning, and contract and lease review and drafting, and his estate planning and administration practice covers wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, and probate applications. He was called to the bar in 2024. He is a director of the Duncan/Cowichan Chamber of Commerce and chair of its Business Advocacy Committee, a member of the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, the Estate Planning Council of Canada, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and the Canadian Bar Association of British Columbia, and holds a 2025 Comprehensive Canadian Tax Review certification. He splits his office hours between the Cowichan Valley and Nanaimo, by appointment.
