About Andrew

Andrew Patel is developing a broad practice in corporate and commercial law across a range of sectors. He works on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate formations and reorganizations, securities offerings and compliance, shareholder activism, corporate governance, and regulatory matters. Patel first joined Goodmans as a summer student in 2019, completed his articling there, and became an associate in 2021. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Leeds, where he graduated with first-class honours in the top 10 percent of his class, along with an M.A. in Political Economy and Global Thought from Columbia University and an LL.M. in Business Law from the University of Toronto.
