Andrew Morrison is a commercial litigator with more than 20 years of experience advising clients of all sizes, with a 91% overall success rate across more than 100 reported decisions. His practice covers real estate and commercial contract disputes, shareholder rights, partnerships, commercial leases, employment relationships, judgment debt collection, conflicts of interest, and lawyer-client fee disputes. He appears before the BC Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator. Morrison represented the Urban Development Institute at the Supreme Court of Canada in a leading decision on when a corporation is bound by pre-incorporation contracts, and has argued cases establishing principles around binding letters of intent and pre-sale strata contracts. He is a frequent speaker at CLEBC and Canadian Bar Association events and has guest-lectured at the Allard School of Law at UBC.
