About Andrew
Andrew Kirk is an experienced litigator who has appeared before tribunals and courts at every level, from the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal up to the Supreme Court of Canada. Much of his practice centers on Crown-Indigenous relations, and he works with businesses pursuing economic reconciliation between First Nations and non-Indigenous Canadians. His litigation background covers Indigenous law, Indigenous child protection, family law, criminal law, administrative law, and constitutional law. He earned his LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 2008 and went on to study in Osgoode Hall Law School's Indigenous Lands and Governance program. Andrew is admitted to the bars of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island and practises across Canada. A member of the Six Nations of the Grand River Reserve, he makes his home in Atlantic Canada.
