About Andrew
Andrew Hanrahan is a partner at TGF whose commercial litigation practice spans bankruptcy and insolvency matters, construction and infrastructure disputes, and shareholder conflicts. Before joining the firm, he spent nine years practising in the New York office of an international firm, giving him cross-border experience he still applies to Canadian and US clients, including in restructuring matters. His work has included representing joint ventures in public-private-partnership construction disputes, acting for the first publicly funded Canadian university to restructure under insolvency law, and serving as US litigation counsel in the Nortel Networks pension litigation. He has also taken on significant pro bono work, including representing tenants in New York housing court and clients in Pro Bono Ontario's consumer protection program, earning him an Empire State Counsel honour from the New York State Bar Association in 2015 and 2017.
