Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionAndrew Nesbitt is an associate in TGF's Restructuring and Litigation practice groups, having started at the firm as an articling student. During law school, he competed in advocacy competitions including the Osgoode Hockey Arbitration Competition, the Frozen Open Osgoode Moot and the Dentons Cup, and was active with the Osgoode Business Law Society and the Osgoode Hall hockey team. He received the Insolvency Institute of Canada's prize for the top grade in bankruptcy and insolvency and the Wendy Babcock Social Justice Award. Before law school, Andrew worked as a claims adjuster at a Canadian commercial insurer, gaining experience in mediations and arbitrations, and completed a secondment in the corporate legal department. He holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Guelph (2014) and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School (2023), and was called to the Ontario bar in 2024.
