About Andrea
Andrea Hagen practises general corporate commercial law, with an emphasis on corporate structuring and governance, capital raises, private and institutional lending, and transactional work such as acquisitions and financings. She has structured private equity funds, flow-through limited partnerships, and professional corporations, and also works with start-ups on organization and business planning across industries including software and wineries. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Victoria, began law school at McGill University in Montreal, and transferred to finish her law degree at the University of Victoria in 2010. She was a research assistant at the British Columbia Law Institute and the Canadian Centre for Elder Law before articling in the Okanagan in 2010 and founding Quantum Law with Sylvia Lee in early 2012.
