About Allan
Allan Leibel serves as counsel at Goodmans, which he joined in 1972. His practice focuses on municipal law, with an emphasis on development matters in the Toronto area, and he was part of the team that drew up the plans for creating the Toronto 'mega-city' in 1998. Leibel has been involved in numerous development projects across the Greater Toronto Area and elsewhere in Ontario, acting for both landowners and governments in complex development approval processes. Outside the law, he represented Canada twice as an Olympic sailor and is now a member of the Canadian Olympic Association, and he serves on the International Sailing Federation Review Board.
