About Alida

Alida Malherbe is an associate at Watson Goepel focused on wills, estates, and trusts, assisting clients with estate planning and guiding them through probate. She began her legal career in South Africa, practising for 11 years before relocating to Vancouver, and worked as a paralegal at a North Shore firm while requalifying in Canada. Alida holds an LL.B. from the University of Stellenbosch (2006) and an LL.M. in Estate Law from the University of Pretoria (2015), and was called to the bar in South Africa in 2010 and British Columbia in 2026. She is fluent in Afrikaans.
