About Anita
Anita Boscariol is associate counsel at Watson Goepel, with a practice focused primarily on Aboriginal law and a portion in immigration law. She spent over 25 years in the public sector, including ten years as Director General, Treaties and Aboriginal Government Negotiations West, and previously served as Assistant Deputy Chair of the Immigration Appeal Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board. Anita advises on Indigenous self-government, economic development, and consultation matters, and represents clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board and Federal Court. She earned her LL.B. from UBC in 1982, was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1985, and is fluent in Italian, French, and Spanish.
