About Alecia

Alecia Haynes practices civil litigation with a focus on insurance defence, with a track record of successful cases both in court and resolved through negotiation and mediation, appearing before all levels of trial court in British Columbia. Before joining Murray Jamieson in 2019 she worked as in-house counsel for a large insurance company. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Philosophy and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2017 after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2016.
