About Lauren
Lauren's practice focuses on family law and child protection matters, and Lauren frequently represents children on behalf of the Office of the Children's Lawyer. Lauren's interest in the legal protection of women and children grew out of their undergraduate studies in Women's Studies, and Lauren is trained in working with clients who have experienced domestic violence. Lauren earned an Honours BA from the University of Western Ontario in 2006, winning a gold medal for academic achievement, and a JD from Queen's University in 2009. Lauren was called to the Ontario bar in 2010 and is a panel member of the Office of the Children's Lawyer. Lauren volunteers with the Salvation Army Thunder Bay Community Church.
