About Alan
Alan McCallum is a labour and employment lawyer at PooranLaw's Toronto office, which he joined in 2019. He advises employers in the disability, health, and social services sectors on collective bargaining, labour mediation and arbitration, Ontario Labour Relations Board proceedings, pay equity compliance, Human Rights Tribunal proceedings, and wrongful dismissal matters. He articled in the public service, focusing on management-side labour and employment law with the Government of Ontario, and previously worked as a summer student at a Bay Street law firm. He also teaches employment law to non-legal audiences, including college-level courses for occupational health and safety workers. He holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
