About Alan

Alan Kenigsberg is a partner in Osler's Tax Group and head of the firm's customs, commodity tax, and trade practice. His practice focuses on planning and advising clients on commodity taxation, including GST, HST, and provincial sales taxes, as well as customs, import and export controls, excise and fuel taxes, cross-border taxation, and transfer pricing. Alan Kenigsberg's work also includes tax dispute resolution, negotiating voluntary disclosures related to sales tax, customs, and export controls, obtaining export permits, and conducting compliance audits under customs and free trade agreements. He also provides client training on sales tax, customs, and export compliance matters.
