Nadine Edirmanasinghe founded Edirmana Law and focuses her practice on immigration, refugee, and human rights matters. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2010 after earning an LLB from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Common Law, and later completed a master's degree at Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. Before starting her own practice she worked as a Legal Officer and consultant for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and has experience with the South Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and the Canadian International Development Agency. She belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, and the Refugee Lawyers Association, and has written on refugee litigation trends and statelessness in Canada.
