About Sanguinetti + Associates

Sanguinetti + Associates is a small firm in Etobicoke, in the west end of Toronto, practicing corporate and commercial law, real estate and wills, estates and trusts. The firm traces its roots to the Etobicoke practice of Downey, Shand & Herold, which later became Wright & Associates. Dominique Sanguinetti articled at Wright & Associates, was called to the Ontario Bar in 2003, and took over the practice in January 2012, continuing it under its current name. Sanguinetti holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Toronto and a law degree from the University of Ottawa, earned in 2002.

The firm's other lawyer, Vickie Phillips, was called to the bar in 1985 and has practiced in Etobicoke ever since, focusing on wills, estate planning and administration, including multiple wills, Henson trusts for beneficiaries with disabilities and planning for blended families. Sanguinetti + Associates also continues to assist clients of Carl F. Winer, Q.C., who practiced law in Etobicoke for close to fifty years, mostly in real estate, before retiring in January 2012. Winer was called to the bar in 1962, appointed Queen's Counsel in 1978, and later received a Life Membership from the Law Society of Upper Canada.
