About Pulver on Condos

Pulver on Condos is a small Toronto firm that works only in condominium law under Ontario's Condominium Act, advising both condo boards and individual unit owners. Principal and founder Shawn Pulver started the practice on the idea that both sides of a condo dispute, the corporation and the owner, deserve real advocacy, and the firm still represents both. Before founding the practice, Pulver was a litigation partner at Macdonald Sager Manis LLP and has more than twenty years of experience advocating for clients. The office is Suite 1603 at 141 Adelaide Street West in downtown Toronto, a stretch of the city dense with the same kind of high rise condominium buildings the firm's lawyers spend their careers advising on.

The team also includes senior associate Jackie Bartlett, called to the Ontario bar in 2016, who has practiced condominium law since then and appears before the Superior Court of Justice, the Condominium Authority Tribunal, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Pulver also teaches an intensive condominium law course as a visiting professor at Western Law and was one of the founding directors of CAI Canada, an organization focused on education, advocacy, and research for condominium and strata managers. The firm's areas of work, owner representation, human rights issues, compliance and enforcement, dispute resolution, shared facilities agreements, and post turn over matters, all sit inside that one specialty.
