Neuberger & Partners LLP is a Toronto law firm that has practiced criminal law exclusively since it was founded in 1993. The firm is based on Eglinton Avenue West in midtown Toronto and keeps a second office in Markham to serve clients in York Region. Founder Joseph A. Neuberger earned an LL.B and an LL.M in criminal law from Osgoode Hall Law School, was called to the Ontario bar in 1993, and is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Criminal Law. The team of about a dozen lawyers and legal professionals handles the full range of criminal charges, including sexual assault, domestic violence, homicide and other violent offences, impaired driving, drug charges, fraud, theft, professional discipline matters, extradition, and internet based offences.

The firm has built a particular focus on sexual assault and domestic violence defence and publishes a recurring newsletter on developments in that area of law. Neuberger has also taken on public roles beyond private practice, serving as lead counsel for the Ontario government at the Cornwall Public Inquiry into historical allegations of sexual abuse, and sitting on the Ontario Review Board for twenty years, from 2002 to 2022, as an alternate chairperson and legal member. Neuberger also wrote Assessing Dangerousness: A Defence Guide to the Dangerous Offender Application Process, published by Thomson Reuters Canada, and has co-chaired the Advocates' Society's Criminal Litigation Skills Certificate Program since 2002.
