Gearing Law Professional Corporation is a two lawyer firm based in Toronto, formed by Steve Gearing and Beth Gearing to combine their separate practices. The firm launched in 2016 and positions itself as a lower cost alternative to larger firms, drawing on the two lawyers' more than 50 years of combined experience. Steve Gearing handles civil and commercial litigation, including employment disputes, contract and insurance coverage matters, and construction liens. Beth Gearing handles business law and general counsel work, with a particular focus on real estate, hotels, and hospitality.

Beth Gearing spent more than 20 years at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, reaching partner, before moving in house as Vice President, Legal and Privacy Officer at Delta Hotels and Resorts. That role included work on Delta's 2015 acquisition by Marriott International and later advising on the public private redevelopment of Ottawa's Lansdowne Park. Steve Gearing has practiced civil and commercial litigation for 27 years and has appeared before all levels of the Ontario courts, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal.

The firm's main office is in Toronto's Commodore Building on Adelaide Street West, a 1929 heritage building in the King Spadina Heritage Conservation District. It also keeps a second office in Oakville, a private suite in an executive office building near the Bronte GO station, giving clients in the west GTA a closer point of contact.
