About Fauri Law

Fauri Law is a corporate and venture law firm founded in Toronto in 2020. It's based on the 57th floor of First Canadian Place, in the city's financial district. The firm is led by founder Khaled El Fauri, who holds a JD from the University of Jordan, an LLM from the University of Sussex, and a Global Professional LLM from the University of Toronto, and who is called to the bar in Ontario and in Jordan. Before starting the firm, the founder spent more than a decade as General Counsel for industrial, defence, and aerospace organizations in the United Arab Emirates, advised a Government of Ontario infrastructure agency on transit expansion projects including the GO Rail Expansion, and worked as senior legal counsel at a publicly listed Canadian telecommunications company during a proposed merger.

Fauri Law advises founders, investors, and growth companies on business formation, venture financing, governance, and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and intellectual property ownership matters for technology companies. Alongside bespoke advisory work, it offers fixed-fee Workflow Kit packages for common lifecycle matters, such as incorporation, equity structuring, and employee agreements, so routine work can be scoped and billed up front. The firm also has a branch in Abu Dhabi, Fauri Law FZE, licensed in 2025, which handles Gulf region corporate matters and Canada-UAE cross-border work as an extension of the Toronto office rather than a separate firm.
