Alan Harris was called to the Ontario bar and began practicing law serving clients in West Toronto. Gregory Harris, a founding partner of the firm, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa's law program in 1990 and served as an editor of the Ottawa Law Review. R. Alan Harris continued as counsel to the firm until retiring in 2005, after more than 39 years in practice.
Today the firm covers business and corporate law, civil litigation, employment law, family law, real estate, tax planning, wills and estates, and a dedicated workplace investigations practice. Commercial litigator Douglas Christie, called to the Ontario bar in 1983, first partnered with R. Alan Harris and later rejoined the firm. Litigator Norman Ronski was called to the bar in 1977, and corporate lawyer Mark Swartz in 1988.
