About Zachary
Zachary Carter is a criminal defence lawyer who was called to the bar in 2019. He practised in Prince Albert before joining Pfefferle Law in 2021, and maintains an active trial practice, including work as co-counsel on appeals before the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, where he won the Foster Prize for highest academic achievement in Human Rights and the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association Prize for Trial Advocacy, and his moot team won the National Trial Advocacy Competition (Sopinka Cup) in Ottawa. He now serves as a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan, where he co-coaches the Gale Moot team, and holds an honours degree in music with distinction, performing with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra.
