About Nathan
Nathan Metivier has practised exclusively in criminal defence since being called to the bar. He began at Pfefferle Law as a summer student and continued through his articling year after receiving a Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. During law school he won several academic awards in criminal law, including the Judge D. Murray Brown Memorial Prize in Appellate Advocacy and the Amy and Brian Pfefferle Prize for the highest blended average in criminal procedure and evidence, and he served on the Board of Editors of the Saskatchewan Law Review. He has appeared at every level of court in Canada with a particular interest in criminal appeals and Charter cases, and has experience with both jury and judge-alone trials. Based in Regina, Metivier accepts files from across Saskatchewan.
