About Brian

Brian Pfefferle is the founder of Pfefferle Law Office, which he opened in 2011 after articling with Cuelenaere & Company following his studies at the University of Saskatchewan. He practises criminal defence exclusively, appearing in jury and non-jury trials, preliminary inquiries, bail hearings, sentencing hearings and appeals at all levels of court across Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada. His caseload spans impaired driving, domestic violence, assault and theft through to murder, sexual assault, drug offences and fraud, and he has appeared before several professional discipline hearing committees and the National Parole Board. Pfefferle serves as President of the Saskatoon Criminal Defence Lawyers Association and was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2024. He teaches Advanced Criminal Law and Practicum as a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and received an LL.B. with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007.
