About Andrew
Andrew (Drew) Hitchcock was born and raised in Regina and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan. He articled at the Court of Queen's Bench in Regina and practised at a medium-sized firm before spending a year as a Ministerial Advisor at the Saskatchewan Legislature. From 2009 to 2023 he worked as a public defender at the Regina City Legal Aid office, where he helped create the Regina Mental Health Court and served as its duty counsel for its first three years. He has represented clients at all levels of court in Saskatchewan, including dangerous and long-term offender proceedings and cases involving mental health defences, and has volunteered at the Regina pro bono legal clinic for more than six years. Hitchcock joined Pfefferle Law in 2023 and is based in Regina.
