About Azhar

Azhar Waseem is the principal lawyer at Rajput Law, with a practice covering immigration, real estate, criminal, business, and family law. He earned his law degree from Punjab University in Pakistan and worked in a range of legal roles there before moving to Canada in 2019. He completed the National Committee on Accreditation's qualifying assessment for foreign-trained lawyers and obtained a Certificate of Qualification, then enrolled with the Law Society of Ontario and completed the Barrister and Solicitor exams, being called to the bar in Ontario in March 2023. He subsequently worked as a criminal defence lawyer with Legal Aid Saskatchewan, representing clients in the Provincial Court of Prince Albert and on the Cree court circuit, including at Pelican Narrows and Ahtahkakoop First Nation, before establishing his own practice.
