About Wolfgang
Wolfgang Kaufmann is a senior trial lawyer, mediator, and arbitrator who has practised at Daoust Vukovich LLP since 1997, focusing on litigation and arbitration involving commercial leasing, real estate, franchising, construction liens, and bankruptcy reorganizations. He has conducted numerous trials and argued motions, applications, and appeals, and several of his matters have been reported for their impact on the law. Wolfgang prefers a practical, results-driven approach that doesn't always require the expense of a trial, drawing on his experience with negotiation, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution methods. A member of the Ontario bar since 1987, he earned his law degree cum laude from the University of Ottawa in 1985, winning the Karam Greenspon award for his contribution to student legal aid. He also holds a Master of Arts in Political Economy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts from York University, and he has been a member of the ADR Institute of Ontario since 2007.
