About William
William turned to personal injury law after a family member's wrongful death, wanting to support others facing similar loss. He earned an Honours BA in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph before completing his law degree at Queen's University, where he volunteered as a caseworker at Queen's Legal Aid and received the McDougal-Watson Memorial Award for his work there. Called to the bar in 2018, he joined McLeish Orlando as an associate and has since appeared before the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal, including obtaining a judgment of more than $12.1 million for a client with a severe spinal cord injury. He belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers' Association, the Advocates' Society and the Law Society of Ontario, among other groups.
