About Virginia

Virginia Gillmore is a partner at Fidelis Law Droit, originally from Petitcodiac, New Brunswick, and has worked at the firm throughout her legal career. She has appeared before all levels of court in New Brunswick, the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island, and the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, and manages a practice covering personal injury, slip and fall, motor vehicle accidents, concussions, PTSD and sexual assault claims, cases involving minors, class actions, CPP disability appeals, property insurance claims, judgment enforcement, and professional disciplinary matters. She earned a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University in 2004 and a Juris Doctor from the Universite de Moncton in 2017, and was admitted to the Law Society of New Brunswick in 2018. She won the Foster & Company prize for the highest mark in insurance law and competed in the Ottawa-Moncton and Laskin moot courts. She belongs to the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, the Association des juristes d'expression francaise du Nouveau-Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Law Society of New Brunswick.
