About Victor

Victor Liu practices mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance law. Liu advises early-stage companies in sectors such as fintech, crypto, mobile gaming, interactive media, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, and healthcare on growth financings, governance, and strategic planning. As part of the firm's emerging business initiative, Liu volunteers as legal counsel in residence at the DMZ at Toronto Metropolitan University, offering advice and mentorship to startups. Liu has advised participants in the cannabis industry since 2013 and has been recognized by Chambers Canada, The Legal 500 Canada, and Best Lawyers in Canada for work in cannabis, corporate, and securities law. Liu spent eight months in the firm's Hong Kong office in 1999 and has remained active in Toronto's Canada-China business community since returning.
