About Vanessa
Vanessa has practiced family law exclusively since being called to the Bar in 2010. After graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School she joined Niman Gelgoot and Associates LLP, where she worked alongside Harold Niman and Daryl Gelgoot ahead of the 2019 launch of Gelgoot & Partners LLP. Her practice covers mediation, arbitration, litigation and drafting domestic contracts, and she has appeared at every level of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal. She has taken part in precedent-setting cases and is recognized for her writing and case management. Vanessa has published articles in the Criminal Law Quarterly and the Canadian Family Law Quarterly and has contributed to educational materials for the Law Society of Ontario and Osgoode's Professional Development Centre.
