About Vakkas

Vakkas Bilsin is a managing partner at Lewis & Associates LLP focused on business law, business immigration, immigration applications, and judicial review applications to the Federal Court of Canada. He has argued judicial review cases before the Federal Court and has brought successful stay motions challenging removal orders, along with experience in Labour Market Impact Assessment applications, intra-company transferee work permits, and start-up visa programs. Vakkas earned an LL.B. in 2013 and an LL.M. in Public Law in 2015 from Galatasaray University in Istanbul, followed by an LL.M. in international legal studies from the University of Vienna and a Global Professional LL.M. from the University of Toronto in 2020. He joined the firm in 2019, was called to the Ontario bar in January 2021, and speaks Turkish and English.
