About Lia

Lia Traboco is an associate at Ang Law Professional Corporation and a dual-licensed lawyer, called to the bar in both the Philippines and Ontario. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2017, was called to the Philippine Bar in 2019, and after immigrating to Canada was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025. She practises immigration and business law and serves as a director of the Filipino-Canadian Lawyers Network. Before relocating to Canada she practised corporate and commercial law in the Philippines, advising business owners on complex transactions. She also holds Certified Information Privacy Manager and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada credentials, which she uses to advise clients on data privacy and compliance.
