About Trent
Trent Blanchette's practice focuses on tax litigation and tax dispute resolution. Before joining Felesky Flynn, he clerked for the judges of the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa and articled at a national law firm in Vancouver. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, a Master of Public Administration from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Guelph. In law school he won the Chief Justice William McGillivray Mooting Shield and the Blackstone Debating Medal, served as an editor of the Alberta Law Review, and founded the Calgary chapter of the Runnymede Society. He has coached the University of Calgary's national tax moot team since 2019 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2018 and the Alberta bar in 2019.
