About Timothy
Tim Kirby practises estate and succession planning, corporate and personal tax planning, and mergers and acquisitions. He won academic awards during his Bachelor of Laws studies at the University of Alberta, including the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society Award for the highest mark in Corporate Taxation. He has contributed research to the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Bar Association, CPA Alberta and the Federated Press. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2025 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2004.
