About Tamar
Tamar Agopian is a Disability Lawyer and Partner at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, representing clients across Canada in long-term disability and personal injury matters. She has worked on both sides of insurance disputes, having previously acted for insurers, municipalities, and large corporations, and has appeared before numerous levels of court in trials, appeals, and motions. Tamar hosts The Disability Law Show, discussing long-term disability rights and how to pursue compensation when claims are denied. She earned her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003 and a B.A. with High Distinction in Economics and Political Science from McGill University in 2000. Tamar is fluent in English, French, and Armenian, and is involved with Toronto's Armenian legal community.
