About Tessa

Tessa Sever completed her articles with Johnson Doyle Nelson & Anderson in May 2026. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and holds a Bachelor of Legal Studies from Capilano University. During her studies, Tessa worked with the Department of Justice's Criminal Conviction Review Group, reviewing and investigating applications and making recommendations on possible miscarriages of justice or wrongful convictions, and volunteered with the UBC Law Students' Legal Advice Program, gaining experience in client intake, legal research, and criminal law matters.
