About Tanys
Tanys Insley is an associate lawyer whose litigation practice focuses on resolving high-conflict family matters. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario's Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Justice. Tanys holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, where she also took part in exchange programs at Oxford and Siena, and went on to earn her LL.B. from Queen's University Belfast and an LL.M. from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law. During law school she worked with several social service agencies on criminal and family law issues, which shaped her commitment to fair, practical outcomes for clients. She is admitted to the Ontario Bar and belongs to the Peel Law Association, the Toronto Lawyers' Association, and the York Region Law Association.
