About Tamryn
Tamryn Jacobson is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Goodmans, focusing on complex commercial arbitration and litigation. She advises clients on assessing litigation risk and finding business solutions to legal disputes before they reach the courtroom. Jacobson has significant experience with international arbitration bodies and domestic arbitration across industries such as construction, mining, banking, technology, and hospitality. She has appeared before every level of court in Ontario and has been recognized by several legal directories for her work in commercial arbitration and litigation. Jacobson serves as a board member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, sits on the Ontario Bar Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Executive Board, and previously chaired the Advocates' Society's Arbitration and Mediation Practice Group. She has volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario for more than a decade as duty counsel at the Superior Court of Justice and spent seven years as a director of the AIDS Committee of Toronto.
