About Talissa
Talissa Mohamed is an associate in the firm's appeals department. She earned her Juris Doctor jointly from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy in 2023, completed her articles in civil litigation, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2024. Before joining Edward H. Royle & Associates, she built her defence experience at a boutique Toronto firm. During law school, Talissa served as President of the Human Rights Law Association of Windsor and Vice President of the Innocence Project, and worked as a caseworker at Legal Assistance of Windsor and Community Legal Aid. Her clinical work earned her the Rose Voyvodic Memorial Award for excellence. She also competed in several moot competitions, winning Top Oralist honours at Windsor Law's Zuber Moot, and later coached students in moot advocacy.
