About Betty
Betty Psarris co-founded Loewenberg Psarris Workplace Law LLP and has practised exclusively in employment and labour law since being called to the Ontario bar in 2007. Psarris advises and represents clients on wrongful dismissal claims, human rights violations, employment standards complaints, WSIB claims and appeals, and grievance arbitrations. Psarris also drafts and advises on employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and workplace policies, and conducts neutral third-party workplace investigations and training on the Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. Psarris has appeared before labour arbitrators, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and various levels of court in Ontario. Psarris graduated from the National Program at the University of Ottawa, earning both an LL.B. and an LL.L. (Licentiate in Civil Law).
