About Summer
Summer Danakas is an associate in Osler's Employment and Labour Group. Danakas counsels employers on workplace issues ranging from employment standards and human rights accommodation to restructurings, investigations and terminations. Summer often works with emerging and high growth companies on hiring practices, compensation arrangements and day-to-day HR risk management. Danakas also has experience with unionized workplaces, including collective bargaining and arbitration matters, plus wrongful dismissal and insolvency-related employment disputes. Summer completed a law degree at the University of Toronto and graduated with distinction from Queen's University.
