About Allison
Allison E. O'Brien is a founding lawyer at Family Law Solutions. She earned her LLB from the University of Calgary in 2010, after completing a B.A. Hons at the University of Toronto, and was admitted to the Alberta bar in September 2011. Allison practises in all aspects of family law, including parenting, child and spousal support, division of matrimonial property, adult interdependent partner matters, and prenuptial, cohabitation, and separation agreements. She also handles Emergency Protection Orders, Restraining Orders, and Protection Orders for both claimants and respondents, with extensive court and private arbitration experience. Allison is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar, volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance and the Women's Centre, and was recognized as Calgary Legal Guidance's Volunteer of the Year in 2020.
