About Steve

Steve Whitter joined Paquette Avocats in 2024 as a lawyer in the litigation, corporate law and commercial law departments. His varied practice has included representing businesses and individuals in complex disputes before Quebec courts, including the Court of Québec, the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, and certain administrative tribunals. He has strong expertise in urgent proceedings, including injunctions, safeguard orders and protective measures, and handles commercial litigation involving internal business conflicts, commercial contracts and shareholder disputes. Since his call to the Barreau du Québec in 1999, he has built substantial experience in business and commercial law through his litigation and private-practice work. He holds an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal (1997) and is a member of the Barreau du Québec.
