About Stan

Stan Fainzilberg is a partner practising employment, labour, and human rights law from Samfiru Tumarkin's Toronto and Ottawa offices. He advises both employees and employers on wrongful and constructive dismissals, severance negotiations, human rights applications, contract disputes, misclassification, and workplace harassment. Stan has appeared before the Superior Court of Ontario, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Social Benefits Tribunal, and articled at a labour and employment boutique before joining the firm. He hosts the Employment Law Show on Global News Radio in Toronto and London, taking listener questions on workplace rights. Stan holds a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Waterloo, and volunteered with the Elgin-Oxford Legal Aid Clinic while at Western.
