About Sophie
Sophie Toor is a workplace lawyer practising employment, labour, professional discipline, and human rights law, advising private and public sector employers, boards, and unions. She has represented clients before administrative tribunals and at all levels of court in British Columbia, and has experience conducting complex workplace investigations, drafting specialized policies, and advising on human rights issues involving large data sets and technical evidence. Originally from Ontario, she moved to British Columbia to attend the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she took part in Pro Bono Students Canada. She began her career at a workplace law firm in downtown Vancouver and continues to focus her practice on workplace-related matters.
