Anita Atwal Law is a workplace law firm in Surrey, British Columbia, founded in 2022 by Anita K. Atwal, KC. Atwal started at a large regional Vancouver firm in 2006, building a civil litigation practice covering local government, policing, labour and employment, insurance, and commercial matters, then joined a labour, employment, and human rights firm in 2017 to focus exclusively on workplace law. Raised in a farming family in BC's Lower Mainland, Atwal ran a business before law school, a background the firm says grounds its practice in organizational realities. In January 2026 the BC government named Atwal among that year's King's Counsel appointees, a provincial honour recognizing contributions to the legal profession.

The practice centers on workplace investigations, mediation, training, and governance and ethics advice for employers, unions, and professionals, along with workplace equity and inclusion work. Atwal trained as a mediator at the Harvard Negotiation Institute and is qualified on Mediate BC's Associate Civil Roster, and investigations and mediations can also be conducted in Punjabi. Alongside Atwal, the team includes lawyer and investigator Rosie Schlagintweit, who has worked with Atwal since 2019 and joined the firm in 2022, and workplace lawyer Sophie Toor, who practises in employment, labour, professional discipline, and human rights law. Atwal also serves as Integrity Commissioner for the City of Maple Ridge and Ethics Commissioner for Legal Aid BC.
