About Simran

Simran Oberoi is associate counsel at Alliance Lawyers. Oberoi completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Asian Studies at UBC and earned a JD from Thompson Rivers University in 2021, receiving course prizes in Family Law and Creditors' Remedies and winning Best Factum for the Appellant at the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot. The first four years of Oberoi's career were spent at a family law firm, representing clients in divorce and custody matters, and the practice has since expanded into general civil litigation. Oberoi has represented clients at all levels of court in BC and generally favours out-of-court solutions where they serve client interests. Oberoi grew up in Abbotsford and is familiar with the Fraser Valley.
