Simon-Pierre Godbout is a Partner in Cox & Palmer's Moncton office, practicing bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring, with experience advising creditors and debtors in bankruptcy, receivership and CCAA proceedings. He also maintains a commercial litigation practice, acting for individuals, corporations, financial institutions and private lenders in commercial disputes, contractual claims, and real estate and property disputes. His practice includes representing clients in commercial transactions, corporate restructurings and multi-jurisdictional financings, and he has argued at all court levels in New Brunswick. He is fluent in both official languages and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2014 after earning a Juris Doctor from the Université de Moncton.
