About Shubhankar
Baweja founded Amberstone Law after being called to the Alberta Bar in December 2023, following nine years of civil, constitutional, family, and real estate litigation practice in Chandigarh, India, after his 2013 call to the India Bar. He relocated to Calgary in 2022, completed the NCA accreditation process and CPLED, and articled at a boutique Calgary firm before starting his own practice. His work centres on civil disputes, commercial litigation, and real estate-driven claims, including business purchases and sales, shareholder buyouts, corporate restructurings, and construction and commercial liability matters. He regularly appears before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench and has argued at the Alberta Court of Appeal.
